Softball Camp Begins: June 11th

Swing your way to The Plex for our Softball Summer Camp! Learn from our experienced coaches and train in one of the top sports facilities in the Bay Area. Suitable for Beginner to Intermediate level players, this softball camp will help improve fundamentals and encourage team-building in a fun environment!

What You’ll Learn at Camp

  • Fielding Techniques: Proper positioning, glove work, ground balls, pop flies
  • Throwing Mechanics: Arm strength, accuracy, proper grip and release
  • Base Running Fundamentals: Sprinting technique, sliding, base stealing
  • Hitting Drills: Batting stance, timing, power generation, contact points, slapping, bunting
  • Conditioning & Agility Drills: Endurance, speed, agility, flexibility
  • Game Situations & Scenarios: Scrimmages, simulated game scenarios, decision-making under pressure
  • Mental Toughness & Focus: Visualization techniques, handling pressure, staying composed in-game situations

Meet the Coaches

Savanna Herbst

Savanna is a dynamic softball player known for her exceptional speed, agility, and versatility on the field. As a left-handed hitter, she brings a unique advantage to the plate, consistently putting pressure on opposing pitchers and defenses with her slapping, bunting, and small ball batting approach. Her defensive abilities are equally impressive, particularly in center field where her speed allows her to cover ground effectively and make challenging plays look routine. Additionally, her proficiency in the middle infield adds depth to her skill set, making her an asset in various defensive alignments.

Sunny Fernandez

Sunny has played softball since she was 5 years old and has been playing competitive travel ball since she was 10. She currently plays catcher for the NorCal Legends and her varsity high school team. She stands out as an outfielder with her speed, range and diving plays. Sunny can also play first base and has a very high IQ for the game. Known for her exceptional work ethic on and off the field, she leads by example and is a team player in whatever she does. She is a lefty batter and hits for power and is also great at slapping and bunting. Her passion is undeniable, and it shows in her effort on the field during practice and in the game. She brings years of experience and is eager to teach others what she knows. She is excited to get to work and help young ladies to improve their skill set and unleash their potential.
